The Story Behind Our Dental Practice
Dr. Cam Crawford acquired the well-respected dental practice of the late Dr. Stan Allington in August 2011. At that time, the name became Maple Leaf Dentistry for two reasons – there is a beautiful red maple tree on the front lawn, and of course because Dr. Crawford is a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs! Patients come to the practice from Lakefield, Bridgenorth, Millbrook, Omemee, Norwood, Ennismore, Warsaw, Peterborough and all other parts of the Kawarthas.
The practice is located in a beautifully restored red brick historical home. It received a letter of commendation from the Peterborough Architectural Conservation Advisory Committee for the tasteful renovation which preserved the integrity of 291 Reid Street. Renovations were made to include a ramp to the main floor entrance to enhance the practice’s accessibility. Beautiful inside and out, Maple Leaf Dentistry continues to welcome new patients of all ages.
